After two fantastic installations already in 2016, Agua Viva got ambitious and signed a covenant with friends in a NEW country… Honduras. With humble beginnings at the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS, Agua Viva was able to identify a small rural area in great need of purified drinking water at the Iglesia Metodista Unida in Quisgualagua, Honduras. This impoverished village consisted of mostly women with a woman pastor at the church, a women superintendent at the school, and now a woman System Operator for their new water purification system. So, in October 2016, a group of dedicated volunteers installed a complete system, conducted a fully blown Health & Hygiene Education Program, and provided dental services for every child in the school (with parental permission).
