Agua Viva means “Living Water” in English. Our water purification systems and our health and hygiene education programs are the heart of our efforts. Agua Viva has installed over 40 water purification systems in 5 different countries: Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya and Tanzania. The total cost for each complete installation is $20,000 USD and the design provides for a very efficient, low maintenance, and low operating cost installation for a community of 2,000–5,000 people.
If you feel led to serve by volunteering or through your financial or prayerful gifts, we appreciate you more than you can ever imagine! Removing the weight of the financial burden for these trips allows us to focus on the quality of our program. It also allows us to focus on preparations so that we can make these trips more fun and meaningful to our host communities and volunteers.
